Back in 1990, Dave, his wife Jan, and two daughters took a family vacation. While passing through Arizona, they stopped in Chino Valley. There were cows on the highway, so they had to stop while the cows were wrangled! They fell in love with the area and moved less than 6 months later.
Dave is a master gunsmith and has been for over 35 years. He sold his gun business when the family moved to Arizona and reestablished Mazy's off of 3 North in Chino Valley. Mazy's has been located in the same building for the last 30 years (celebrating 30 years in Chino Valley in November of 2021).
There isn't a day that goes by that one of the Mazy kids or grandkids isn't at the shop. Recently, both of Dave and Jan's daughters have stepped up in part of the Internet business of Mazy's so that Dave can focus on his custom gun and repair division of the store. Jen is the director of used gun sales on GunBroker and keeps the walk-in humidor stocked and organized. Kris is the web guru and product photographer for the site. Jan helps in the web department by adding new merchandise online to the website. Both sons-in-law also step up in part of the business. Larry keeps the network of computers and other tech equipment running and Jason helps anywhere he can including shipping and stocking merchandise and is the "Go-to" guy when anyone needs help.
Mazy's is constantly adding new lines of merchandise in the shop and are now getting those online on the website as well
